Actor JM de Guzman considers it a blessing to be part of ABS-CBN's hit series "Hawak Kamay," which served as his comeback series after his one-year absence from showbiz due to problems with drug abuse.
"Hawak Kamay" which also stars Piolo Pascual, Iza Calzado, Xyriel Manabat and Zaijian Jaranilla, is now down to its last three weeks.
So nao-overwhelm ako," he narrated.
Now that he is back, de Guzman is taking extra care not to commit the same mistakes he made in the past.
'Yun po not to commit the same mistakes para mawala ulit," de Guzman said.
The actor said part of his healthy lifestyle now is working out.
May certain high akong nakukuha doon sa pagiging sporty," de Guzman said.
After "Hawak Kamay," de Guzman hopes to land a new series.
'Yun po ang inaasahan ko sana ay matuloy," he said.
De Guzman is also promoting his latest film, which pairs him with Angelica Panganiban. "That Thing Called Tadhana" is one of the 10 films of 2014 Cinema One Originals Festival.
