Actor Gerald Anderson has joined the cast of ABS-CBN's upcoming series "Nathaniel" with Shaina Magdayao as his leading lady.
Although both are part of the Sunday variety show "ASAP," Anderson said it will be his first time to work with Magdayao in an acting project.
"Si Shaina po ang leading lady ko doon at 'yung bata. Ayaw ko pong magkwento po masyado pero napakaganda at sana ay abangan niyo po 'yan," he said on Tuesday.
"I'm very excited for this project dahil kakaiba din po ang role ko doon, very heartwarming at napakaganda ng kwento din."
Work on "Nathaniel" has already started last month. Apart from Anderson and Magdayao, it also stars new Kapamilya actor Marco Pingol and "The Voice Kids" winner Lyca Gairanod.
"Nathaniel" tells the story of a boy with the supernatural ability to promote what is good.
Comedienne Pokwang, Benjie Paras, Ogie Diaz, Jairus Aquino, Sharlene San Pedro, Jason Gainza and twins Fourth and Fifth Pagotan are also part of the cast.
