Dennis Trillo is the kind of actor who’s willing to go the extra mile for every project he takes on.
His latest film, the multi-awarded “The Janitor,” is no exception. Here, he did almost all the stunts during filming.
“Karamihan ako, then minimal lang ‘yung [scenes na] gumamit ngdouble,” he reveals during the bloggers conference for the film held today, Oct. 7.
He also rehearsed the fight scenes with co-star Raymond Bagatsing – not just once, but multiple times.
Dennis also made an effort to change his appearance and learn about a hitman’s psyche to be the best for the part.
“Bukod sa binago ko ‘yung itsura ko dahil gusto kong maiba ‘to dun sa mga previous kong ginawa, lalo na ‘yung huli ko na major role na ginawa eh medyo nagmarka [dahil] bading so minabuti ko dito sa ‘The Janitor’ na magpaitim ako, magpa-bulk up ako ng konti,” he shares. “Tapos nag-research [ako] kasama ni Direk Mike.Nag-interview kami ng mga totoong hitmen.”
