Actor DJ Durano has finally confirmed that he once had a romantic relationship with film director Wenn Deramas.
In an interview with the entertainment website Push, Durano said he is happy that he and Deramas remain friends even after their breakup.
He said the director continues to help him with his showbiz projects.
Durano is part of the upcoming comedy film "Moron 5.2", which is
directed by Deramas.
"Natutuwa ako na naintindihan niya (Deramas) ang naging desisyon ko. Magkaibigan pa rin naman kami at forever akong magiging grateful sa mga naitulong niya sa akin," said Durano, who admitted that he currently has a girlfriend.
The actor went on to say that he does not regret having a relationship with Deramas, noting how some people have judged him for his decision.
"Bakit parang ang sama-sama ng tingin nila sa akin?" he said. "Ako lang ba ang nakikipagrelasyon sa gay? I mean, hindi lang naman ako ang gumagawa ng ganito, 'di ba? Marami rin naman diyan, ah! Bakit ako lang 'yung parang hinuhusgahan nila?"
