JC de Vera Still Feels Overwhelmed to be a Kapamilya.

JC de Vera admitted that he is still adjusting to life as a kapamilya. The actor also relayed that he’s overwhelmed with the many changes that happened to his career after he signed with the Kapamilya network.

“I’m still overwhelmed with all the things that are happening and alam mo ‘yun hindi ko pa rin ma-explain kung ano ‘yung kaba ang nararamdaman ko every time na meron akong mame-meet na person or meron akong bagong work na gagawin for ABS. Ano pa rin eh nasa adjustment period pa rin ako. Until now malakas pa rin ‘yung nerbiyos ko,” he said.

According to the The Legal Wife actor, he feels a bit pressured knowing that he will be working with bigger and more experienced actors. Nonetheless the pressure serves as a motivation for him to strive and to do better. “Magandang nerbiyos ‘yung nararamdaman ko, habang kinakabahan ako mas lalo kung nafe-feel ‘yung pressure na kailangan kong galingan, kailangan kong sumabay sa mga matitinding artista, para sa akin magandang motivation ‘yun.”

Nonetheless, he felt happy in general to be in ABS-CBN. “Sobrang saya ko kasi alam kong marami akong matututunan dito, marami akong nakakasamang magagaling at mahahatak ako para maging magaling din so okay naman ako sobrang saya ako.”

One of the projects that JC is working on at the moment is a comedy film titled Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy with Vice Ganda. “It’s something new, unang-una kasi ngayon lang gagawin ni Vice ‘yung apat na character na gagawin ng sabay-sabay na pagkahirap-hirap gawin. Ang isang eksena siguro tumatagal ng mga two to three hours. Siyempre pagsama-sama ‘yung apat na characters, siyempre iba’t ibang shots ‘yun per character, medyo tiring pero ang kinagandahan non, pinaghihirapan ni Vice bawat scene,” he relayed.

On the pressure of starring with Vice Ganda, JC shared, “Oo siyempre may pressure dahil kailangan mong suportahan si Vice dito sa movie na ‘to and in order para mag-hit ang movie siyempre kailangan lahat ng suportang kakailangan ni Vice dapat maibigay natin, so napre-pressure kami kasi baka kulang ‘yung naibibigay ko kay Vice at ‘yung hinahanap niya di ko maibigay so medyo kinakabahan lang ako sa part na ‘yun pero nakailang shooting days na ako so far so good.”
