Ritz Azul says ‘For Love or Money’ Conundrum would be tough in Real Life.

Ritz Azul admits that her new TV character has a very tough decision to make.
In “For Love or Money”, TV5’s intriguing new weekly drama series, she plays a recently married woman who is suddenly offered P10 million by a mysterious millionaire (Alice Dixson) in exchange for lending her husband (Derek Ramsay) to the latter for 10 straight days.

“Mapapaisip ka talaga kasi ang laking pera naman talaga nung offer,” the actress admitted to InterAksyon in a recent interview.

Thankfully, Ritz does not see herself making that decision in real life anytime soon. The TV5 primetime princess is proud to admit that she still has no idea what’s it like to be married, let alone have a boyfriend even though she’s already 19.

Which is also why there was a little apprehension on her part when she thought about how she would attack the role of Roselle.

Dito sa ‘For Love or Money’, may asawa na talaga, may experience na,” she confessed.

She added that the mature nature of the project also has a slight effect on her working relationship with her leading man, Derek Ramsay.

Ritz, however, said she doesn’t feel awkward at all when it comes to working with Alice Dixson, to whom she first became close when they first worked together in “Glamorosa” in 2011.

I’m very happy to work with her again,” she added.

With three big series (“Kidlat”, “Misibis Bay” and now “For Love or Money”) to her credit, Ritz reflected on what a great year 2013 has turned out to be for her.

I still hope to do a film soon.
Aside from film, Ritz still hopes to realize her dream of becoming an international beauty queen like her “Misibis Bay” co-star and reigning Miss World Megan Young. She said she considers winning the Mutya Ning Kapampangan title in her native Pampanga in 2011 as a high point in her life.

But given that her acting career is very much on the upswing right now, her dream to represent the country in an international beauty pageant may have to wait a little longer.

I still have five years pa naman,” she said in reference to most beauty pageants’ age limit of 24 years old.

Directed by Mac Alejandre and also starring Edward Mendez, Ricci Chan, Rea Nakpil and Mara Lopez, “For Love or Money” premieres Thursday, October 17 at 8PM on TV5.
