After sharing co-producer duties with Kung Fu Divas co-star
Ai-Ai De las Alas and working together on the set of the comedy-action
movie, Marian Rivera admitted she is happy with the warm welcome she
received in the Kapamilya network. Hindi siguro more on kaba, more on na-excite at natuwa dahil finally makikilala ko yung mga taga-dito,” she shared.
Marian
or “Yan-yan” as she is affectionately called by close friends, said she
is not totally unfamiliar with the ABS-CBN compound since she did her
college OJT (on-the-job trainee) stint at the Kapamilya network. Marian said that she and her co-star are now close friends.
The
29-year-old actress said she will support her Kung Fu Divas co-star
through whatever personal issues she is going through. Ai-Ai recently
admitted that she had reached an amicable settlement with Jed Salang
whom she married in Las Vegas last May. Marian said although she
provides moral support, she does not think she is in the position to
give any advice to her more experienced co-star. Huwag niyo na intrigahin (laughs),” she said.
When
it comes to her own relationship with longtime boyfriend Dingdong
Dantes, Maian said there is no truth to the rumors that they are walking
down the aisle anytime soon.
I-invite ko din kayo,” she said.
The mestiza beauty also denied persistent rumors she is jealous of Dindong's newest leading lady Bea Alonzo.
so enough na siguro. Parang siguro ilatag ko na, tapos na. Wala naming
masama, ako nga nakikipagtrabaho with Edward (Mendez, her ee co-star),
kung sinu-sinong artista. Siguro natural lang yun pero siguro kung
paulit-ulit na nakakasawa na at talagang minsan sasabihin mo na, ‘Enough!’” she declares.
Marian
actually downplayed giving a special gift to Bea as a sign of goodwill
when she visited her boyfriend on the set of his upcoming film.
As part of her promotional duties for the movie, Marian said she sees no problem in being more visible at ABS-CBN. “Yes sa isa lang show pero meron. Kahit saan puwede basta papayagan ako ng network ko,” she said.
