Actor-TV host Vhong Navarro alleged in the six-page affidavit he
executed in his hospital bed on Tuesday that he and model Deniece
Cornejo had oral sex during their first meeting prior to his January 22
mauling in the hands of businessman Cedric Lee and other men.
An Inquirer report late Tuesday quoted a line from the affidavit that said of Navarro and Cornejo: “After consuming one bottle of white wine, they made out and it led to oral sex.”
The affidavit does not provide the date of the encounter but both Navarro and Cornejo had said in media interviews that it happened on January 17, although Cornejo said nothing intimate transpired between them that night and he subsequently tried to rape her on January 22.
Navarro alleged in the affidavit that when he visited Cornejo for the
first time at her unit at Forbeswood Condominium in Taguig City, they
started to kiss after drinking the wine, which led to the oral sex.
The affidavit did not specify who performed the sexual favor to whom, although the Inquirer report said Navarro was the recipient.
In his interview on “Buzz on Bayan” on Sunday, Navarro claimed that something short of sexual intercourse happened that night between him and Cornejo, and this prompted her to send him the text message “Bad ka” afterwards.
Navarro said he interpreted the text to mean that she was disappointed that the sex had not been fully consummated, so he replied, “Bawi ako next time.”
The affidavit stated that Cornejo invited him to have dinner at her condo on January 22. Navarrro said that after he was ushered inside the unit by Cornejo, two men stepped out of her bedroom and one of them pointed a gun at him.
They then tied him up and blindfolded him, and started mauling him. Moments later, other men arrived and joined in beating him up.
Navarro swore to his affidavit before agents of the National Bureau of Investigation who then proceeded to file multiple charges against Cornejo, Lee and others at the Department of Justice on Tuesday afternoon.
Cornejo and Lee have yet to give their statements to the NBI after she failed to appear at the NBI office on Friday, but Cornejo has told media that she will sue Navarro for attempted rape and libel.
