Kapamilya Actress Bangs Garcia has Confirmed that She and Football Player Phil Younghusband are Exclusively Dating.

Actress Bangs Garcia has confirmed that she and football player Phil Younghusband are exclusively dating, ending months of speculation surrounding their relationship.

In an interview on "Aquino & Abunda Tonight" that aired Friday, Garcia admitted she started dating the Azkals striker last July. "Bago pa lang po kami. We're just getting to know each other," she said.

"We've known each other since 2012, but we had our own partners pa at that time," she added.

Younghusband was previously in a relationship with "Darna" star Angel Locsin, who confirmed her separation from the football player in October 2013.

Garcia said she is not bothered that some fans of Younghusband may not approve of their relationship, following his high-profile relationship with Locsin.

Asked if she and Younghusband have exchanged "I love you's," Garcia said they have yet to reach that point, but added, "He inspires me, he completes me each day."

Enumerating the qualities she admires in Younghusband, Garcia continued: "We get along very well. What I like most about him is that he's very God-fearing and we always put God in the center of our relationship."

"[That he's a devoted brother] is a huge point for me, kasi I have a younger brother who has Down's syndrome, so I can really relate to him," the actress said.

She said Younghusband and her brother act as parents to their youngest sibling, Keri, after they were orphaned in 2011.

"I really admire that in him, na grabe siya mag-alaga kay Keri," Garcia added. "Ganoon din ako sa brother ko. I treat my brother like it's the last day of my life."

According to Garcia, she has good relationships with both siblings of Younghusband, saying she is, "in fact, very close to Keri."

With her busy schedule as an actress, Garcia said her relationship with Younghusband inspires her to do better in her craft.

"Gusto ko 'yun sa kanya. He always supports me in anything and everything that I do. He brings out the best in me, without even saying anything. He inspires me to do the best things in my life."
