"Well, pressure? Yes, there is but I'm also excited at the same time and I just turned my focus into that, the excitement, the fun and Mutya (Datul) is always there to give advice. Bb. Pilipinas has been briefing me of what's going to happen and I'm just excited about it," Santiago said in her guesting on ANC's Headstart on Friday.
Santiago added she's just "lucky" to be with Datul, the reigning Miss Supranational.
"I've always been telling people that first-hand advice from Mutya is my ace in winning the crown," she said.
Right now, Santiago said she just feel so blessed to be the country's representative in the competition.
"I'm really blessed, I feel very blessed and honored and I really hope that people will continue to support me because it's actually my source of strength and courage that despite all the pressure and, well not really criticisms but despite what other people say they're always there for me, supporting me and rooting for me," she said.
The 2014 Miss Supranational coronation night is set on December 5 in Poland.
