“The fact that we’re different means that we complement each other.”
This was the statement of James Reid during his live interview with Nadine Lustre on “Aquino and Abunda Tonight” aired yesterday, October 2.
This was the response of James when asked to react on the issue of them being too different from each other.
James, born and raised in Australia loves going to parties while Nadine, full-blooded Filipina shares in a previous interview on “The Buzz,” that she is a homebody.
James, however, clarified that he is not a hardcore partygoer.
“I don’t know hardcore but I love to party. I mean lumaki ako sa Australia at ganun talaga sila,” says James who grew up in Sydney. “I love electronic music ever since I was 13 (years old).”
Despite having different interests, the two apparently clicked onscreen, as evident in their consecutive blockbuster films “Diary Ng Panget” and “Talk Back and You’re Dead.”
The two recently proved that their tandem can also draw a lot of viewers on the small screen as their special Saturday TV series “Wansapanataym Presents: My App Boyfie” earned a nationwide rating of 29.5% according to Kantar Media National.
Because of this, the two are determined to stay focus and to work harder for their career, hence their decision to set aside real-life romance, for now.
