Earlier this year, Azkals football player Phil Younghusband was rumored as the father of the child. The controversy was allegedly one of the reasons of Phil’s breakup with Angel Locsin.
To clarify things, Fabio posted his picture carrying his baby girl who is seen wearing a baptismal dress on his personal Instagram account (fabioideofficial).
"This is my official statement regarding the issue at hand. I'm truly a blessed man to have this beautiful baby girl by my side,” captions Fabio. “14 months ago (2 months before I met my present girlfriend, I had a casual encounter with Denisse Oca and I later found out I got her pregnant and it was only in May this year that I found out I was a dad in a not ideal scenario but because of my upbringing and family values I chose to accept this child and support her no matter what."
He adds, "Sometimes life is not what you expect of it but it is always how we react to it and I chose to do the right thing. I have kept this private for a few months just to my family and friends who knew I was going through a tough time."
"There are many fatherless children out there and I refuse for my daughter to be one of them. I have been supporting my daughter from the start but I'm only opening up to the public now bc it's such a sensitive issue. Thank you so much for supporting me throughout my career and understanding this difficult situation right now."
"It's so painful to see what is happening now. What my girlfriend said is so hurtful and evil. She already apologized for that and admitted I never said such a thing."
"I also don't agree with Denise for posting things online. These problems should be resolved at home with family and friends and not trrough social media. I'm in the middle of a war zone while the only thing I wanted was to be happy, leave with peace and be a good father. My daughter doesn't deserve any of this bullshit happening right now."
"If there is one side I will take is my daughter and as I promised myself I will give everything she needs from me as a dad. Thanks for understanding and sorry for dragging all of you into this. Meanwhile, Denise and Fabio’s present girlfriend Michelle Pamintuan are exchanging nasty Instagram posts which all began when Denise shared a screenshot of her conversation with Michelle on her personal Instagram account (d_oca) yesterday, September 30.
The post shows that Michelle describing Denise’s mom (Melissa Mendez) as the "most evil person" and announcing that Fabio did not want to have a child with her.
Denise captioned the photo: “Enough is enough. I have been so patient with you, all I wanted was peace, but you have CLEARLY CROSSED THE LINE AND IT IS WAR.”
“What kind of person says these things? And for you to say my mom is evil? LOOK IN THE MIRROR -- THATS WHAT EVIL LOOKS LIKE. When I look back at this, I know I will not regret my decision because I WILL ALWAYS FIGHT FOR MY DAUGHTER and stand up against people like this. Michelle, you have crossed the line and you can't take back what's already been said. And Fabio, if this is the kind of person you want to be with then I don't want you anywhere near my daughter. If you really love Danielle and want to be a good father to her then this isn't the kind of person you should be carrying around with you who is full of anger and hatred. I've been so patient and understanding throughout this whole thing but I'm done!!! NO ONE MESSES WITH MY DAUGHTER.”
