Check out how Mac Belo won the game for Far Eastern University (FEU) by gunning a buzzer-beating triple that doomed De La Salle University in their do-or-die UAAP men’s basketball semifinal joust on Wednesday.
With just seconds to go and the score tied at 64-all, Mike Tolomia drew La Salle’s defenders by attempting to drive to the basket. With nowhere to go, he then fed an assist to Belo who was left wide open near the baseline.
From there, the FEU power forward triggered the trey that broke the deadlock just in time with the final buzzer.
The Tamaraws will face National University in the UAAP finals.
