“Forgiveness and peace. Tita Wilma Galvante believed in our family
since day one. She helped me launch my career to soaring heights. Now
the Gutz family is very happy to announce our new partnership with
TV5.#itTakesGutzTobeAGutierrez will now air on free tv through tv5 and
tv5 international. Our first episode will premiere on July 5 7pm right
after the PBA finals. #Gutzon5”.
That’s the Instagram post of Richard Gutierrez captioning a photo of his mother Annabelle Rama and TV5 chief entertainment content officer Wilma V. Galvante posing happily together. (See photo above.)
It can be recalled that Rama and Galvante engaged in a highly publicized feud back in 2009 when the latter was still a top executive at GMA Network. Lawsuits were even filed by the two women against each other. The two, however, ended their animosity through the reported intercession of Regal Films matriarch “Mother” Lily Monteverde. This was manifested publicly when Rama attended Galvante’s birthday party in 2012.
Shortly after her appointment as chief entertainment content officer of TV5, Galvante actually started working again with the Gutierrez family after Raymond Gutierrez was signed up to be one of the hosts of TV5’s showbiz talk show “Showbiz Police” last year.
The acquisition of “It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez”, the top-rated reality show on cable TV that currently airs on the E! channel, marks the first time that the entire Gutierrez clan will be seen on a regular show on the Kapatid network.
“It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez” is part of TV5’s 3rd Quarter Storm line-up of new programs under the tag line “Signal No. 5: Umuulan ng Saya sa TV5”.
