Claudine Barretto Slams Sister Marjorie and ‘Disrespectful’ Niece.

Actress Claudine Barretto took to her Instagram account to react to the earlier posts of her older sister, Marjorie Barretto questioning the remarks of the former’s counsel, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio in a recent interview.

Marjorie on Wednesday night posted a screengrab of an audio clip of Atty. Topacio’s recent interview with news anchors Erwin Tulfo and Martin Andanar, where he cried foul over the spreading of false news that Claudine is dead. 

Even if, according to him, they already have an inkling as to who started the rumor, the equally controversial lawyer couldn’t help but wonder why his client, of all the Barrettos, have been the target of such malicious news.

“Bakit naman sa lahat ng Barretto sisters, ang pinatay ay si Claudine? Bakit hindi na lang si Gretchen kaya or si Marjorie? Sinasabi ko lang po, hindi ko naman sinabing gawin nila. Siyempre hindi naman natin gagawin ‘yun ano?” he said. 

That specific quip has seemingly been the reason why Marjorie captioned the photo with “What exactly do you mean???”

After which, she posted yet another screengrab, this time of Atty. Topacio’s tweet where he joked about Dani Barretto, Marjorie’s first born, about being a “horse.” 

An obviously miffed Marjorie captioned her post with “What were you trying to insinuate Atty.topacio?”

Claudine’s response

Claudine was anything but happy over Marjorie’s posts that she directly addressed her in her own Instagram post.

“Why Marjorie, have you been trying to insult me for the longest time. And now even your daughter openly disrespects me. Teach your daughter manners and values."

“Are you trying to insinuate or are you being very MALICIOUS again of my being close to my lawyer? Refrain from putting MALICE & QUESTIONING my relationship with my lawyer or anyone,” she posted.

The actress continued, “You are right Atty. Ferdinand Topacio IS NOT A BARRETTO or part of the family. But let me remind you so is RECOM ECHIVERRI one who has a family of his own and children of his own. Never will he be a part of our family NOR WILL YOU EVER BE A PART OF THEIRS.”

In a separate post, Claudine “thanked” Marjorie’s “generous heart” after the latter supposedly helped her estranged husband Raymart Santiago.

“By the way I heard that you are/were generous enough to lend my ex-husband the services of your lawyer Atty. Lorna Kapunan. That’s very generous of you. God bless your generous heart of Gold Marjorie,” she said.

Recall that in the May 11 episode of The Buzz, Claudine revealed that she is angriest at Marjorie for allegedly keeping her from seeing her nieces and nephews Dani, Julia, Claudia, and Leon, whom she claims she treated as her own.

Atty. Topacio for his part took to his Twitter account on Wednesday to react to Marjorie’s posts of him insinuating something. "I should ask her the same thing," he posted.
