Deniece Cornejo Deletes Instagram Account after Posting Screenshot of Text to Cedric Lee.

Controversial model Deniece Cornejo has deleted her Instagram account, @realdeniece, after posting an alleged screengrab of a text message to Cedric Lee in the early hours of January 18, hours after her first intimate encounter with comedian and TV host Vhong Navarro.

A screenshot of said Instagram post was posted by the international independent news site, The Epoch Times, which first reported Cornejo’s deletion of her Instagram account early Wednesday morning.

As reported by Zachary Stieber, Cornejo posted a screengrab of a text message she had sent to a certain “Cedric” which said, “Help im being harrased.” Accompanying the screengrab in the Instagram post are the hashtags “#telecomcantlie #Godistrue and #stopmakingstories.”

If the text message is authentic, it would mean that Cornejo had immediately informed Lee that Navarro had violated her somehow on the evening of January 17 when Navarro first visited her at the Taguig City condominium unit she was staying in at the time.

However, harassment is far from rape, which Cornejo alleged in her counteraffidavit happened twice to her — both on January 17 and January 22 — contrary to her earlier public statements that nothing intimate happened between her and Navarro on January 17.

The text message would also imply a conspiracy among Cornejo, Lee and several others because it would mean they had five days to prepare for the alleged assault against Navarro.

Searching for Cornejo’s Instagram page or simply typing Instagram.com/realdeniece will now result in a “Page not found” message in the popular photo sharing social media site.

Prior to the deletion of her Instagram account, Cornejo had set its settings to private days after InterAksyon reported on her series of posts last February 28 which include a selfie photo of herself smiling and a message where she accused the National Bureau of Investigation of illegally obtaining the CCTV footage, which her lawyer, Howard Calleja, called “unauthenticated and spliced”.

Cornejo posted, “#educatefilipinopeople illegal ang ginawa ng NBI dahil walang court order yon at kinuha. Hindi ito puwedeng gamitin o tanggapin ng hukuman ang CCTV dahil nagalaw na.
#thetruthwillprevail#dontfollowifyouwillnotlisten#onewordjustice.”

In one of her last few Instagram messages before she deleted her page, Cornejo also blamed media for her negative public image.

According to his short bio on The Epoch Times, Stieber “reports on news around the world, focusing on breaking and big stories”. His 2013 coverages include “Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines and other extreme weather across the world”.
