Just a couple of days after her surprise confession, Angel Locsin
remains unstoppable in declaring her love and her hopes for her and
ex-boyfriend Luis Manzano.
During her live appearance on Buzz ng Bayan on
Sunday, Angel claims that she’s well aware that not too many people
would understand what she did or even why she even still has feelings
for Luis especially since she just parted ways with Phil Younghusband.
“Well nung nagsalita kasi ako parang ine-expect ko narin naman na marami talagang hindi makakaintindi. Pero ako sobrang against talaga ako sa mga nanloloko ng tao eh at wala po akong history na nanloko ako ng boyfriend or kung sino man na may inagawan o ganyan. Malayo po talaga ‘yon. Naghiwalay po kami [ni Phil], mutual po ‘yung decision. Wala pong kinalaman si Luis,” she explained.
If
anything, she once again reiterated that she and Luis made a conscious
effort to really avoid each other despite being in the same network when
they were still in their respective relationships.
“In all fairness siguro ‘yung mga taong malapit samin dito alam kung gaano kami nagiiwasan ni Luis ng tatlong taon po. Hindi po kami magkagalit pero nagkakataon lang talaga na di muna tayo dapat magkita, di muna tayo pwedeng magusap,” claimed The Legal Wife actress.
Coming right on the heels of her confession, a surprised yet palpably happy Minute to Win It host said that he’s also “definitely” in love with Angel.
That said, perhaps the most intriguing question is whether or not they have already gotten back together.
A question which she addressed head on by saying, “Hindi pa po kasi naguusap pa kami. Kakausapin niya ‘yung daddy ko. Hindi ako nagtatago pero may mga bagay lang talaga na inaayos kami. But as of now, we’re happy, nag-eenjoy kami sa isa’t-isa at siguro mas nagiging honest kami sa isa’t-isa. Sana maging maayos ‘yung pag-uusap kasi andami naming hindi napagusapan nung naghiwalay kami.”
Interestingly,
Angel shared that Luis has apparently maintained his ties with her
family who are all very supportive of her decision.
“Napakaswerte ko sa pamilya ko kasi kahit anong desisyon ko, nirerespeto nila at naiintindihan nila. Si daddy, laging may communication kasi kay Luis ng hindi ko alam, kahit sa mga kapatid ko. Isa ‘yon sa mga naa-appreciate ko sa kanya kasi very consistent ‘yon.
Kahit hindi kami nagkikita o nag-uusap pero ‘yung pakikisama sa mga
taong nagging malapit din naman sa kanya noon, hindi naman niya
pinabayaan,” she enthused.
Apart from her
confession, perhaps what surprised the reporters and even the public
about her recent honesty was the fact that she has finally let her walls
down.
Where did these feelings come from?
“Sa lahat. Siguro sa lahat ng pinagdaanan namin noon and siguro nakita ko rin na nag-mature siya. Nakita ko rin na nagbago rin siya for the better. Hindi ko talaga ma-explain kung ano ang nararamdaman ko ngayon basta ang alam ko mahal ko ‘yung tao at gusto ko siyang makasama,” she ended.
