According to the "E! News" special about his career, Pascual was 20 when his girlfriend at the time told him that she was pregnant with his baby.
The actor's sister, Chiqui Gonzales, said: "[Piolo] was in denial. He didn't want to accept that Inigo was his son, so they had this DNA test. It was 99.9% [positive]!"
Pascual said he didn't know that Gonzales discussed the topic in the 30-minute program, which aired on E! News Asia late last month.
"Hindi ko din alam when my sister talked about it sa [E! News Asia]at kasama ko 'yung anak ko noon. I was cringing because hindi ko alam ang lalabas sa E! Siyempre he is my own blood," Pascual said.
The topic of DNA testing was brought up in relation to his admission that he plans to work on his last will and testament soon.
"I'll be working on it actually. Kailangan 'yon," the 37-year-old Pascual said, adding that his beneficiaries include his son Inigo and his mother.
