Angelica Panganiban turned all pink when she was asked on when she felt the most beautiful.
“Nung nakilala ko si John Lloyd,” she gushes at the press conference of her latest movie “Beauty in a Bottle.”
Angelica has been in a relationship with box office actor John Lloyd Cruz, with their love story believed to have blossomed while filming in Vietnam for their segment in 2012’s “24/7 in Love.”
“Nung nasa Vietnam ako… Magkaaminan na ‘no!,” she exclaims. “Parang ang kapal ng hair ko, ang lago, ang ganda. Ang bango ko. Ang ganda ng smile ko, ang puti ng ngipin ko. Lahat talaga!”
Turning serious, she adds, “Kasi feeling ko… para bang may dumating na blessing sa buhay ko nun.”
In “Beauty in a Bottle,” Angelica plays Estelle, an actress who struggles to keep her place in the business in spite of her weight issues.
She stars along with Assunta de Rossi, Angeline Quinto, Empress, Ellen Adarna, Cai Cortez, Carmi Martin, Nanette Inventor, Miko Raval, Tom Rodriguez, and Ricci Chan.
“Beauty in a Bottle,” written and directed by Antoinette Jadaone (“Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay”), is a trilogy involving three women and their struggle to combat their respective beauty problems – old age, weight, not-so-pleasant looks. In the end, can beauty be really found in a bottle or is it found in the heart?
It opens in theaters Oct. 29.
