ABS-CBN Sports continues to go all out in taking the FIBA action to
the households of every Filipino sports fan, now that the tournament’s
playoff rounds are set to tip off.
What started as a tournament that showcased the world-class skills of 24 teams has now become an event with 16 sides that will be going all out in two Spanish cities, namely Barcelona and Madrid.
Looking especially poised to go all the way to the finals are crowd favorites Team USA and Team Spain, both of which vicious in cutting down every opponent that has stood in their paths thus far.
As FIBA 2014 finds itself drawn closer to finding a champion in this year’s World Cup, ABS-CBN Sports will trace these two teams’ performances in the simple and straightforward situation that they are presented with—that they win and move on to the quarter finals, or that they lose and go home.
Catch the upcoming games of the 2014 FIBA World Cup. ABS-CBN Sports+Action will be airing the Lithuania versus Turkey match on September 10 at 7:00pm, the USA versus Slovenia match on September 10 at 9:30pm, the Serbia versus Brazil match on September 11 at 7:00pm, and the France versus Spain match on September 11 at 9:30pm.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN Channel 2 will be airing the USA versus Slovenia match on September 10 at 9:30am, and the France versus Spain match on September 11 at 9:30am.
The 2014 FIBA World Cup Finals will also be brought to television screens live via ABS-CBN Sports+Action and ABS-CBN Channel 2.
