Kapamilya Actress Anne Curtis Reveals how She’s Preparing for Fantaserye ‘Dyesebel’

Anne Curtis has admitted that she feels overwhelmed by the honor of bringing to life Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. “I think yung excitement kasi is overpowering yung kaba. Forever naman andiyan yung kaba kahit ano yung gawin ko kinakabahan talaga ako pero yung excitement kasi is andun eh, May energy ka to do the swimming and pag-aralan lahat para ma-perfect mo at hindi mo ma-disappoint lahat ng mga taong nag-aabang ng Dyesebel. And lahat ng bawat post ko sa Twitter or Instagram ko, nakikita ko kung gaano sila ka-excited kaya talagang pinagbubutihan ko lahat,” she admitted.

Anne said she has already started preparations for the role that will require numerous underwater scenes as a mermaid. "Nag-tre-training ako ng swimming and pati yung breathing methods kung pano hihinga ng mas matagal ang breath sa ilalim ng tubig. Of course, nag-da-diet din ako para sexy (laughs),” she admitted.

As one of the country's top celebrity endorsers known for her sexy figure and beauty, Anne said this does not automatically mean she will be portraying a sexier version of the popular mermaid. “Hindi naman pero wala namang chubby na Dyesebel di ba? So it's part of the role to at least be fit kasi lumalangoy si Dyesebel,” she shared.

The Fil-Australian beauty was also happy to find out that Andi Eigenmann would also be joining the cast of the show. Andi was recently cast in the role of Betty who will be Anne's rival for Gerald Anderson's heart in the show. “We worked na together in A Secret Affair so alam ko andun yung chemistry kung pano gagawin. Sobra akong excited. I'm happy that it's her kasi bagay rin naman sa kanya and sobrang thank you na tinanggap din niya yung role,” she said.

This coming Valentine's day, Anne said she is still not sure what her boyfriend Erwhann Heusaff has planned for a romantic night. “Sobrang okay kami, happy. Pero siyempre hindi ako mag-pa-plano nun kaya I'll just wait and see (laughs) pero siyempre kailangan rin naman natin magbigay ng time for that,” she admitted.
