The family of pedicab driver Celo Jumaquio won P1 million on the ABS-CBN
game show "Bet On Your Baby" during its episode aired Saturday.
Celo, who was accompanied by his wife, Len, and son, Ashton, won the grand prize by breaking the right piggy back in the jackpot round dubbed "Basagin ang Baboy" on their first try.
An emotional Celo was in tears when he explained that he chose the number 10 because it was the day that his brother died.
"Kasi 'yung araw na to, memorable para sa akin. 'Yan kasi yung araw na nawala kuya ko eh. Masaya po sana ngayon pero malungkot kasi wala na ang kuya ko," he said.
Before handing the hammer to Celo, host Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo said: "I'm sure binabantayan ka ni kuya ngayon, daddy."
The Jumaquio family is now the 4th millionaire of the game show since it first aired in October.
"Bet On Your Baby," which is part of ABS-CBN's "Yes! Weekend" offerings, airs every Saturday at 6 p.m. after "TV Patrol: Weekend."
