Back in October when Katrina Halili decided to take charge of her life and career and take her work more seriously, the 28-year-old actress did not rule out going sexy again.
After all, Katrina first made a name for herself for her sexy cover shoots in several men’s magazines including FHM Philippines, the readers of which voted her as the country’s sexiest woman in 2006 and 2007 and where she has remained in its annual 100 Sexiest Women list ever since.
Now for the fourth time in the magazine’s history and her first since way back in February of 2008, Katrina is back on the cover of FHM in a sizzling New Year’s issue that boldly declares to all and sundry that “Kat is Back!”
From the looks of it, the actress has already put all her personal setbacks behind her including that controversial video scandal with the equally reformed Hayden Kho and more recently, her much-publicized separation from longtime partner Kris Lawrence which she admitted had taken its toll on her confidence and outlook in life.
Now with renewed zest and fire in her eyes, Katrina is out to recover lost ground. This year, she plans to reveal more than her physical assets as she takes on more dramatic roles starting with her big screen return via BG Productions’ indie drama, “Child House”, a film about children battling cancer to be directed by Louie Ignacio.
And as photographed by Doc Marlon Pecjo for FHM, she’s also not about to let people forget what endeared her to her legion of male fans to begin with.
“This cover is more of a reminder, hindi lang para ipakita sa iba, pero para sa sarili ko na rin. It’s a reminder to take care of myself more,” Katrina told FHM writer Mikey Agulto. The January 2015 issue of FHM Philippines featuring Katrina Halili on the cover is now available in newsstands nationwide.
