Former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Bret Jackson is hurting over rumors that Andi Eigenmann and Jake Ejercito have reconciled.
It would be recalled that Jackson and Eigenmann were romantically linked after the actress broke up with Ejercito months ago.
However, the blossoming romance between Jackson and Eigenmann was nipped in the bud allegedly due to reports that the Kapamilya actress and Ejercito are now in good terms again.
In an interview with “The Buzz,” Jackson said: “I felt hurt but you know, right now, I am just happy that we are friends. [We are] really close pa rin and I’d never say never.”
Eigenmann, on ther other hand, said she still appreciates Jackson for being "a good person."
“Para sa akin, hindi naman yata ibig sabihin na just because hindi kami nagkatuluyan or something like that, hindi naman ibig sabihin na masama na akong tao. Bret is a good person. He’s mature also. He was there for me and he still is,” she said.
Eigenmann also clarified that she and Ejercito are not back together.
“This time, I’m going to be really careful. Kung alam ko na 'yung pinagdaanan ko sa isang bagay, gusto ko mag-ingat na. Hindi ako papasok ulit or maniniwala sa lahat para lang bumalik na anman sa exact same thing. Pareho kaming nagkamali. Hindi ako pwede magsalita ng tapos but as of now, it’s not my priority,” she said.
As to Ejercito’s recent post on social media where he is seen with her daughter, Eigenmann said people should not put malice into it because he mere greeted her daughter a happy birthday.
“Hindi tungkol sa akin 'yung post. It has nothing to do with me. I just want to clarify. People think that it’s a way for him to get me back. He has a relationship with my daughter. My daughter knows him. He knows my daughter. It’s not wrong and hindi kailangan bigyan ng iba pang ibig sabihin ang pag-post niya nun.
He cares about my daughter and so he posted about her and greeted her a happy birthday. Walang ibig sabihin,” she said.
