After its successful pilot episode last Sunday, the second episode of
“Jasmine”, Jasmine Curtis-Smith’s eponymous new TV5 drama series will
not air on the 9:15PM slot as scheduled this Sunday.
The taping for the episode was stopped on Friday after a member of the production staff allegedly had an unpleasant experience with a stalker. The director of the show himself, Mark Meily, ordered the taping to be packed up.
This was immediately followed by an emergency meeting among executives of TV5. The network has yet to release an official statement.
In “Jasmine”, Jasmine plays a rising celebrity hounded by a stalker.
