Sports5′s Erika Padilla jumps from the sidelines of the country’s
premier basketball league to the front cover of the country’s premier
men’s magazine.
The intrepid PBA courtside reporter, actress and beauty queen was unveiled as FHM Philippines’ June 2014 cover girl on Friday.
The cover image has her wearing a black Mickey Mouse Ears headband
and a loose white tank top with a printed sign that says, “#selfie”. She
is pulling the hem of the tank top down to her crotch to reveal much of
her cleavage and her tattoo of the world “Pinay” on her right upper
thigh. She doesn’t seem to be wearing any underwear.
“When you say FHM cover, it’s not just about being sexy, or baring your body,” she told fhm.com.ph. “It’s also about establishing certain success.
With this cover, I just want to somehow celebrate the humble success that I was able to achieve from being an actress transitioning to a sportscaster to a writer and all those.”
Erika, a Political Science graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University, first appeared in the inside pages of FHM’s August 2013 issue after signing on as a columnist for the magazine’s website.
