UFC fighter Urijah “The California Kid” Faber as he Visits the Philippines for the First Time for Tag Team Sport Management’s “The California Kid in Manila.”

Balls Channel, home of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welcomes longtime UFC fighter Urijah “The California Kid” Faber as he visits the Philippines for the first time for Tag Team Sport Management’s “The California Kid in Manila.”

“I’m honored to be here and to meet everyone,” said Faber in an interview with Balls Channel. “I look forward to putting a good seminar and meeting the people who support our sport.”

The 34-year-old will be visiting various SM Malls in the country beginning with SM Cebu on Thursday (March 27). He will make his way to SM Manila, SM Sta. Rosa, SM Dasmarinas, SM BF Paranaque, and SM Fairview for his final stop in the country. Along with his mall tours, Faber will be in Angeles City, Pampanga for “Fight Club” and will conduct a seminar at the Ultimate Fitness gym in Metrowalk.

Aside from his promotional duties in the Philippines, Faber is excited to get to know the people, eat good food, and check out the scenery.

“If I could get to the ocean at some point, I’d like that,” added Faber
In the UFC Fighter Rankings, The California Kid is voted by a panel of media members as the 15^th overall pound-for-pound fighters in the UFC as of March 25, 2014. Meanwhile, he ranks first overall among non-title holders in the bantamweight division.

“I feel like the Filipino fans are some of the best in the world so hopefully, I gain some fans while I’m here,” Faber said.
