Monica attends Javier’s birthday get-together and Monica’s son, upon
seeing his grandfather, runs to him and hugs him. He tells Javier that
his mom always shows him his picture and tells him about his lolo.
Javier doesn’t hug him back and he doesn’t acknowledge Monica’s
greeting.
Later, Javier talks to Monica. He tells Monica he may not have been the father she wanted but he loves his family. Monica also opens up to him and tells him that all she ever wanted was his approval. Monica goes to Javier and hugs him, telling him she misses him. Is this the beginning of a better relationship between Monica and Javier?
