Shortly after InterAksyon reported early Wednesday that Deniece
Cornejo deleted her Instagram account, @realdeniece” a Twitter user
known as vanessa_k (@SiChuchay) tweeted that the controversial model
only changed the user name to “onlyrealdeniece”.
A check with the URL Instagram.com/onlyrealdeniece revealed that the Instagram account is still credited to Vhong Navarro’s alleged rape victim and still has the same 85 posts and over 40,000 followers of the previous “realdeniece” account.
However, as of 3PM Wednesday, the Instagram page realdeniece is back online, this time with only 4 posts and over 3,500 followers.
It also has a new profile photo and a shorter description of Deniece Cornejo as simply “Model. Motivational Speaker”.
Both Instagram accounts are set to private so only Instagram users who are allowed to follow them can view the posts.
Instead of her previous profile description that read, “Producer. motivational Speaker. Advocate. Classic lover. Entrepreneur. Modelstylist. Style ambassador. Product endorser. Educate the nation,” the current onlyrealdeniece is captioned as “~ Admin ~catherine,chris and krizzelle “one sided are not allowed”, suggesting that it is maintained by people sympathetic to Cornejo’s plight but not by Cornejo herself.
Cornejo, however, never categorically denied the existence of the previous “realdeniece” Instagram account even as posts credited to her were reported in various news and blog sites, including InterAksyon.
