Julius Babao exposes a taxi operator in Damariñas, Cavite that produces
and uses fake plates in “Bistado” this Monday (March 24).
“Bistado” conducted a surveillance operation at the said operator’s headquarters after a tipster provided information about its modus operandi.
It was uncovered that the company had been using one plate number for
several cabs (kambal-plaka), and had been switching plates on different
cabs (palit-plaka) to get around the Land Transportation Office’s (LTO)
number coding system.
