KC Concepcion continues to reap glowing reviews for her performance
as the leading lady in the delightful Metro Manila Film Festival entry
“Boy Golden”, but she couldn’t hide her disappointment when she failed
to land a coveted television project.
The actress told her Twitter followers on Wednesday that she will
take a break from showbiz to take “short courses for personal
development” abroad after ABS-CBN handed the coveted role of Dyesebel to
Anne Curtis instead of her.
Anne made the announcement in a press conference on Thursday that she
will star in the latest soap opera revival of the Mars Ravelo franchise
about a lovely mermaid who falls for a human. Dyesebel was last
portrayed by Marian Rivera in a 2008 series on GMA
