Broadcast journalist Ted Failon Probes Complaints against Some Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCC).

Broadcast journalist Ted Failon probes complaints against some government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCC), whose officials allegedly received excessive and undeserved bonuses while increasing the contribution of their members in “Failon Ngayon” this Saturday (Dec 14).

The hike in members’ contributions earned criticisms after media reported that executives of a particular GOCC received incentives reaching over P1 million.
Some of the GOCCs that get contributions from private and government employees are SSS, GSIS, PAGIBIG, and PhilHealth.

Ted also looks into the massive illegal Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) trade that includes unsafe refilling of gas tanks; the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s implementation of collecting business and income taxes from ‘tiangges’ or privilege stores this holiday season; and the inconvenience brought by illegal vendors along sidewalks.

Don’t miss the full report in “Failon Ngayon” this Saturday (Dec 14), 4:45 PM, after SOCO on ABS-CBN with a replay on ANC every Sunday, 2PM.
