“Bistado,” anchored by veteran broadcast journalist
Julius Babao, rescues a caregiver who has been allegedly locked by her
employers inside the house for months in its action-packed episode this
Monday (Nov. 25).
Thirty seven-year old “Linda” left her hometown to look for a job in Manila in order to give her family a better life. But it did not turn out the way she expected it to be because her employers held her captive in their very own residence along with house helps every time they go out.
The employers, however, defended themselves and explained that they are just afraid of being robbed. Does this explanation justify the mischief they have done? Will they be punished for it?
The episode also shows a robbery incident by two suspected members of the “Salisi Gang” on CCTV (closed-circuit television) camera. Will the CCTV video help the authorities identify the suspect?
