Jericho Rosales won the Achievement in Acting award at the recent 3rd Guam International Film Festival (GIFF). He was recognized for his role in Alagwa (Breakaway) which also won the Grand Jury Award for Best Narrative Feature.
The Kapamilya actor beat South Korean actor Jeong-Min Hwang (She), English actor Sacha Dhawan (Girl Shaped Love Drug), and Yunee Kim of Guam’s entry Fiction.
The Ian Loreños-directed Alagwa, on the other hand, won over UK’s Girl Shaped Love Drug and Korea’s Jiseul.
